CLEMSON — Through the first five games of the season, the Clemson offense ranks 34th in scoring and rushing offense, 68th in passing offense and 26th in total offense — not exactly the numbers that the Tiger fan base has been used to in recent years.
If there is one thing that the offensive coaching staff of the No. 2 Clemson Tigers believe, it is that the offense is far from a finished product.
“No question, I think this is still a young group and we’re still building that chemistry every single day in practice, every single game, every single play,” co-offensive coordinator Tony Elliott said.
