The expectations for PSU football for 2025 are probably the highest since the Paterno era. Given the nature of alumni national media and fan buy-in this year, if CJF pulls a dud and the team goes something like 8-4, does he get sent packing?

It’s tough to envision any scenario where James Franklin gets sent packing by Penn State. Even if the Nittany Lions completely throw up on themselves and go 8-4 this season, I think his buyout is just too high at this point.
