On Thursday, Aug. 28, Ian Rapoport reported the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers struck a deal. As a result of a frustrating contract dispute between Jerry Jones and former Penn State defenseman Micah Parsons, Parsons was traded and will now suit up for Green Bay.
The defensive end is now the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history. Parsons is under a $188 million, four-year deal with $136 million guaranteed. Per year, he'll make $47 million with the Packers.
In exchange, the Cowboys will receive two first-round picks and a front-line player, according to Adam Schefter.
