The weekend started with Friday Night Football once again as Ohio State traveled to face Northwestern. After a close quarter of play that may have fooled some into thinking upset, the Buckeyes started rolling and never looked back.
Saturday afternoon featured multiple games that went down to the wire, the most-stunning being Illinois’ win over Wisconsin on a game-winning FG as the clock expired in Champaign. Maryland’s Tyrrell Pigrome threw an interception late in the fourth quarter against Indiana to end the Terrapins hopes for some late-game heroics at home to get back to .500 in conference play.
