In college athletics, players come and players go.
Contrary to 10-year contracts in the MLB, or even max deals in the NBA, a “contract” to play college sports — typically — lasts only four or five years.
Through the midway point of John Harrar’s fifth season with Penn State, he’s seeing the end of the tunnel officially drawing closer.
“I never get too low, because you always have another game coming that you have to be prepared for,” Harrar said Monday. “But, I mean, I’m gonna hang up the jersey soon.”
With just a month remaining in his collegiate career, Harrar hasn’t lost focus — if anything he’s more locked in than ever.
