There are several successful professional wrestling leagues around the world. However, there hasn’t yet been a successful one in the United States.
“I’ve been trying to push for a professional wrestling league in the United States for a while,” reigning world champion and Penn State great David Taylor recently told the Centre Daily Times. “There are so many guys that come out of college, and to be successful on the international level is challenging. Only 10 guys can make the world team and only six guys can make the Olympic team. There are a lot of other good wrestlers out there.
