New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara returned to practice during the portion open to the media on Wednesday.
Kamara suffered a concussion against the Atlanta Falcons.
An NFL player who suffers a concussion must progress through five steps of the league's concussion protocol, of which the final step is a player returning to full-contact practice without restriction.
Kamara, who sat out all but the first series of last Thursday's 20-17 loss to the Falcons, still ranks sixth in the NFL in yards from scrimmage — one spot behind teammate Mark Ingram — with 1,247 yards, including 608 rushing yards and 639 receiving yards.
