TUSCALOOSA — Alabama added a king to its 2019 recruiting class.
Four-star outside linebacker King Mwikuta committed to the Crimson Tide on Friday morning in a ceremony at his high school.
Listed at 6-foot-4, 232 pounds, Mwikuta — a LaGrange, Georgia product — is a consensus four-star prospect who held offers from, among others, Georgia, Auburn, Texas A&M and Florida.
Mwikuta is the fourth commitment in Alabama’s 2019 recruiting class, joining two other four-star prospects and five-star running back Trey Sanders. Sanders is 247Sports’ No. 1 running back in the 2019 recruiting class.
All four of the Tide’s 2019 recruits are ranked in the top-five of their respective position groups in 247Sports’ Composite rankings.
