When No. 13 Penn State women's volleyball gained the commitment of Addie Lyon in the transfer portal it was overlooked at how much she would contribute. She was originally brought in as the backup setter, but Lyon has played a key role for the squad this season and has been a popular teammate.
“What’s not to love about her,” Emmi Sellman said. “When she first got here she was just like the most kind person you’ve ever met. I could talk about her for days like she is seriously one of my favorite people on this earth.”
Against Central Michigan, the Saint Louis transfer had 32 assists, a service ace, two digs, and one block in the 3-0 victory.
