A 'Get Out' parody gives Penn State the best recruiting class of 2018

Commitment announcement videos are largely a sucker’s bet, but give Aeneas Hawkins credit: He came up with something original.

Hawkins, a four-star defensive tackle from Cincinnati, starred in a “Get Out” parody, at the end of which he announced his commitment to Penn State. The Nittany Lions now have Rivals’ No. 1 Class of 2018; Hawkins is the 17th four-star in the group and sixth to commit since July 14 alone.

Seriously, though, the video is at least a three-star (via The Players Tribune):

A couple thoughts: That’s Andrew Hawkins, recently retired NFL wide receiver and Aeneas’ uncle, playing a major role.
