One of the best programs in the CAA, Villanova went 9-3 last year and made it to the second round of the FCS playoffs before falling to No. 6 Incarnate Word 13-6. The Wildcats only faced one FBS team — Maryland — during their 2024 campaign, falling to the Terrapins 38-20 in a game that wasn’t really all that close. The Terps scored on their first four possessions, and had a 24-0 lead at halftime before taking the foot off the pedal.
