For seven former Nittany Lions, the upcoming NFL Combine represents an opportunity to impress NFL counts and move up potential draft boards. All of the hard work of the past few seasons has them each primed for an opportunity to continue playing football as a professional at the next level.
Last season, Penn State sent eight players to Indy, including the likes of Saquon Barkley and Mike Gesicki. This year’s crop of NFL hopefuls will look to garner the same type of success that their predecessors had at the combine.
Offensive linemen Ryan Bates and Connor McGovern, running back Miles Sanders, quarterback Trace McSorley, defensive linemen Shareef Miller and Kevin Givens, and defensive back Amani Ourwariye will all be participating and representing Penn State.
