Penn State Football's 4 Most Important Games Of The 2015 Season

College football's unique in that a single loss could mean the difference between a conference championship (or the ultimate regular-season goal, a College Football Playoff spot) and becoming an also-ran in the FBS ranks. With that in mind, here's our list of Penn State Football's 4 Most Important Games Of The 2015 Season.

4. Michigan Wolverines (November 21st)

Who knows what we'll get in Jim Harbaugh's first year in Ann Arbor. One thing we do know is that the Wolverines' trip to Happy Valley will be a trench battle between two of the most fearsome defenses in the Big Ten.

3. @ Maryland Terrapins (October 24th)

Here's a sneaky one hanging out in the middle of the regular season schedule. QB Christian Hackenberg could have a field day against a depleted Terps secondary, however, which could be enough for PSU to tally a win in one of the program's toughest road tests of 2015.

2. @ Michigan State Spartans (November 28th)

The Spartans are a trendy College Football Playoff pick thanks to Heisman hopeful QB Connor Cook and a roster dotted with experience and blue chip-level talent. Last impressions can be the biggest, and this regular season finale lines up to be just that.

1. @ Ohio State Buckeyes (October 17th)

You want to really make waves? Upsetting the defending national champions on their home turf in The Horseshoe is the way to do it. Nobody will give PSU a chance heading into this one, but that's no matter. Christian Hackenberg is talented enough to win a duel with whichever quarterback Urban Meyer settles on after fall camp.
