Women's Basketball, Volleyball Earn APR Public Recognition Awards

Stockton, Calif. - The University of the Pacific women's basketball and women's volleyball teams each earned an APR Public Recognition Award, the NCAA announced earlier this week. The academic awards honor teams that earn multi-year Academic Progress Rates (APR) in the top 10 percent of all squads in each NCAA sanctioned sport. The teams each earned a perfect multi-year rate score of 1000.

The women's basketball program joined Gonzaga as the only honorees in the sport from the West Coast Conference. Pacific volleyball has earned the award for four consecutive years starting in the 2011-12 season.
