Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific women's basketball team hits the floor to formally open the 2016-17 season with an exhibition Sunday at 2 p.m. against Chico State.
The Tigers and Wildcats will tune up for their respective seasons in the first of two exhibitions for Pacific at the Alex G. Spanos Center.
Pacific has reaped the benefits of a preseason trip to Italy in August, allowing the Tigers 10 early practice dates and three games against foreign competition before the NCAA preseason opened Monday, Oct. 3.
Newcomers Jessica Blakeslee, Janelle Grant and Callie Owens will make their stateside debuts in the Orange and Black (Sydney Fadal did not play in Italy due to injury).
