Skinny: The Mustangs snapped a five-game losing streak last week with a convincing 53-31 win against College of the Sequoias. And despite the long drought, Delta could still actually end up with a winning league record if it finds a way to beat Fresno today and Modesto in the season finale on Nov. 12. … Scoring has not been a problem for the Mustangs, who are averaging 35.6 points and 464.6 yards per game. … Delta’s two-man quarterback rotation has been pretty effective most of the season, and was in sync against Sequoias as both Joey Lopes and Jake Pruitt enjoyed fine outings.
