Tigers take rain-shortened series

The Pacific baseball team took two of three games from Northern Colorado in a rain-shortened series over the weekend. The teams were supposed to engage in battle four times: one game on Friday, a doubleheader on Saturday and one game on Sunday. In anticipation of inclement weather, though, the schedule was changed to move the doubleheader to Friday, and to play one game each on Saturday and Sunday. Despite the efforts taken to avoid the rain, though, mother nature intervened and forced the teams to cancel one game.
The Tigers’ first matchup with the Bears started in the afternoon on Friday and did not end until Saturday afternoon.
