Palo Alto, Calif. - For the second-straight day the Pacific beach volleyball team came away with a split in Palo Alto as the Tigers fell to Saint Mary's, 3-2, before defeating Stanford, 4-1, at the Stanford Tournament on Sunday, Mar. 5. The split matched their performance from the opening day of action at the tournament Saturday and moved Pacific's record on the young season to 2-2 overall and at the tournament.
Kicking off the day against WCC rival Saint Mary's, the Tigers suffered their second tough 3-2 loss just as they had done the day prior against San Francisco.
