STOCKTON — Saint Mary’s fast start still is fresh in the minds of the Pacific men’s basketball team.
The Gaels made their first nine shots and missed just three of 18 attempts from the floor in the first half and went on to soundly beat the Tigers 78-62 on Jan. 14 in Moraga.
Did Pacific (6-13, 4-5 WCC) learn enough to bring about a positive outcome when the teams meet for a second time this season at 8 p.m. Saturday at Spanos Center?
“I hope so,” interim head coach Mike Burns said.
