STOCKTON, Calif. - The Pacific track and field kick off their 2017 season at the Johnny Mathis Invite in San Francisco this Saturday. This will be the team's first group meet of the season as in late January, Emily Wylie participated at the Darius Dixon Memorial Invite where the freshman finished 15th in the 800m with a time of 2:23.87.
At last season's Johnny Mathis Invite, the Tigers set school records in the 3000m steeplechase, the 4x100m relay, the 4x400m relay and the shot put. Jessica Fogel, Mati Long, Ebony Ezeji and Jasmine Jenkins finished the 4x100m relay with a time of 52.
