STOCKTON, Calif. - The Pacific cross country team begins its 2017 season this Saturday when they head to Kahuku, Hawaii for the Big Wave Invitational, which will take place at the Kahuku Golf Course.
Pacific last competed at the Big Wave in 2015 where they finished in third place. Lindsay Wourms paced the Orange and Black across the line in the 5k race with a time of 19:07.05, which was good enough for seventh place overall. Then-freshmen Katelyn Breitschwerdt (20:33) and Haley Silva (20:34) cross the line in tandem, and the duo will look to post another strong showing in this year's event.
