STOCKTON – Nicole Zapotoczny and Molly Bourne are preseason All-West Conference selections that will help lead the Pacific softball team, especially early in the season.
The Tigers return most of last season’s squad but still are considered a young team with five underclassmen and five newcomers to fold into the group. While the offense and defense likely will be stronger than last season, the big question, as always in softball, is pitching. Does Pacific have enough inside the circle to have a winning season?
