Stockton, Calif. – The Tigers were unable to come away with the series win against Northwestern today as Pacific dropped the last game of the four-game series 14-5. Pacific had won both games in the Saturday doubleheader after falling on Friday but had to settle for the 2-2 series tie. The Tigers are now 2-6 on the season while Northwestern moves to 4-4.
Bryce Lombardi was the man with a plan on the mound for Pacific but ended up taking his second loss of the year, falling to 0-2. Shelby Lackey relieved the fifth-year senior in the fourth inning and pitched two innings of three-run ball before Toby Woods came in for one batter.
