Tigers comeback from seven-run deficit to win

With five innings left to play, Pacific baseball trailed 9-2 and looked to be nearing a loss in its Wednesday game at UC Davis. But, Pacific would not be denied. The Tiger offense scored nine unanswered runs to come back and win 11-9.

The Tigers put together three two-out rallies to score six runs and make it 9-8 heading to the top of the ninth when head coach Ryan Garko sent senior Tyler Ryan to the plate as a pinch hitter with runners on first and second. Ryan turned on a pitch from UC Davis' Steve Ouelette and crushed it out to deep left-center to put the Tigers on top 11-9, which would stand up as the final score.
