Seattle, Wash. – Amidst a light rainfall, the Pacific Tigers lost to the Washington Huskies 6-2 in game one of their four-game series despite a hard-fought seven-inning outing from Will Lydon and some early offensive chances. The Tigers fell to 5-9 on the season with the loss and 0-6 on the road. Washington is now 7-4.
Will Lydon made his fourth start and sixth appearance for the Tigers this year. The junior was rolling to start the game, striking out two in the first inning. Lydon has struck out at least two batters in all but one of his appearances this season and now has seven multi-strikeout innings out of his 26 IP.
