Santa Monica, Calif. - Finishing their 2016 campaign in the sand, the Tigers' beach team suffered a pair of losses on day one of the inaugural WCC Championships at Ocean Beach Park in Santa Monica, Calif., ending their season on Friday afternoon. On the day, the Tigers suffered another close, 3-2, loss to Saint Mary's in the opening match of the tournament while dropping a 4-1 decision to San Francisco in an elimination match later in the day. Overall Pacific finished its fourth season in the sand at 6-9 overall.

In what became a trend throughout the season, the Tigers suffered yet another heart-breaking loss at the hands of the Gaels as Saint Mary's defeated Pacific for the fourth-straight time on the year, all by the same score of 3-2.
