Third-quarter cold spell costs Pacific

Desire Finnie scored a game-high 24 points, but a cold third quarter by the Pacific women's basketball team allowed Gonzaga to rally for 68-61 win on Saturday at the McCarthey Athletic Center in Spokane, Washington.

Hailie Eackles added 14 points and Najah Queenland chipped in 12.

The Tigers (10-10, 3-6) led 27-24 at halftime, but the Bulldogs stormed out with a 12-5 run to open the third quarter and forced Pacific into playing catch-up. Gonzaga (14-7, 6-3) outscored Pacific 44-34 in the second half, including 24-12 in the third quarter to snap a three-game losing skid.
