Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific Tigers women's swim team closed out their regular season against UC Davis on Saturday, falling in overall points 136-114. Both the men and women will next swim in the MPSF Championships, which begin February 17 in Los Angeles.
The Tigers hit their stride in the middle of their meet, winning four of the last five events. "I saw people connect with their stroke and with their mentality," said head coach Peter Richardson. "They were fierce in the back half...I saw a spark."
The stretch of wins began with Cristina Mardones, who took home a victory in the 200 Breast in her last regular season meet as a Tiger.
