Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific Women's Soccer team has added Sigrid Aas of Sweden to the team for the 2016-17 fall season. The signing, announced by Head Coach Kerri Scroope this afternoon, is the second of Scroope's initial recruiting class. Aas joins Hedda Bjerklund of Norway, who was signed in late March.
Aas, from Lund, Sweden, will soon graduate from ProCivitas Gymnasium Malmö. She plays for LB07, a club based in Malmö that plays in Sweden's second tier of soccer, the Superettan. Aas has played under the club's development umbrella since its founding in 2007. Aas led her squad to the 2013 Gothia Cup Final.
