Stockton, Calif. - Pacific sophomore catcher Rachel Sellers picked up West Coast Conference Player of the Week honors for the week ending Feburary 21st, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon.
Sellers had an impactful weekend for Pacific, hitting .455 with eight RBI despite sitting out one of the team's five games at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic in Cathedral City, Calif. The sophomore catcher hit safely in each of her four starts. Sellers came up huge in Pacific's wins with highlights including a walk off single in an 8-0, six-inning run rule victory against Bethune-Cookman and a grand slam home run against George Washington to put the Tigers ahead 7-0.
