STOCKTON – It will be an athletic season unlike any other at San Joaquin Delta College, and the school’s administrators and coaches will cope with the situation by putting safety first and staying flexible.
After weeks of consideration, the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) decided to move forward with its contingency plan for the 2020-21 sports season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There will not be a fall season, with traditional fall sports such as football and volleyball beginning in January and spring sports moving back in the calendar.
