Provo, Utah - Finishing off the regular season in the mountains, the Tigers took home a sixth place finish at the PING Cougar Classic as the tournament came to a close on Tuesday afternoon. Pacific ended its tournament at two-over par after a +4, 292, during the third and final round of action at the Riverside Country Club. The Tigers' stint in Provo marked the team's final preparation for the WCC Championships as they will take on the conference's best in Danville, Calif. at the end of the month at the Blackhawk Country Club.
As he has done throughout the second half of the season for the Tigers, freshman Tyler Burns continued to get stronger as the tournament went on as the first-year Tiger came up with his best finish in Provo on Tuesday afternoon after shooting a team-best 69 to go three-under.
