SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference announced their predictions for the 2019 softball season Wednesday morning.
The WCC has UOP finishing in fourth place with 14 votes behind San Diego (15), LMU (22), and defending conference champs BYU (24). The full list can be found here.
Junior utility Hailey Reed and sophomore second basemen Talli Shepherd were also honored on Wednesday earning a spot on the Preseason All-WCC team. The duo are one of three teams this year with at least two position players selected by the conference.
This is the second consecutive preseason award for Reed.
