Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific Softball team dropped a West Coast Conference doubleheader at Bill Simoni Field on Saturday, falling twice to San Diego, 3-0 and 8-6, despite homers from Nicole Zapotoczny and Haylee Moran-Rowen in the second game of the day. Pacific falls to 19-21 on the year (2-6 WCC) while San Diego sits at 18-26 after drawing its conference record even at 4-4 on the season.
Game One
In the first of two on the day, Pacific was shut down by USD hurler Megan Sabbatini (11-15). Sabbatini faced just one over the minimum on the day, retiring the last 20 Tigers she faced.
