STOCKTON – Before Ports first baseman Viosergy Rosa was a teenager he would put on his older brothers’ baseball uniforms and run around the house pretending to be a player.
After being cut from his high school team three times, his resiliency has never allowed him to give up his dream of someday making it to the Big Leagues.
Rosa could see the old Yankee Stadium a couple of blocks from his house then and has never given up on his dream of maybe one day playing in the new stadium as a member of a major league team.
