The Stockton Ports couildn’t get their offense together, but the Visalia Rawhide came up big on the way to a 5-0 win on Saturday at Recreation Ballpark.
The Rawhide went ahead 2-0 in the bottom of the second on Anfernee Grier’s RBI triple, and a two-run homer by Adam Walton, his fifth of the season for a 3-0 lead.
Pavin Smith put Visalia in front further wth a two-run double in the bottom of the sixth.
Stockton had runners in scoring position in the bottom of the ninth, but Brallan Perez lined a two-out fly ball to Jose Vinicio to end the ball game.
