Pacific's Win Streak Comes To A Close With 9-1 Loss

Stockton, Calif. – The Pacific Tigers lost 9-1 to the Loyola Marymount Lions tonight, bringing their seven-game winning streak to an end. The winning streak was tied for the longest since an eight-game winning streak in 1996. Pacific also won seven in a row in 2000 and 2014. During the winning streak, the Tigers had a team ERA of 1.97 and only once gave up more than five runs. The loss drops Pacific below LMU in the WCC standings, as LMU is now 9-8 in league play and Pacific is 8-9. The Tigers committed six errors in the game, a new season high.
