STOCKTON —In Damon Stoudamire’s third season at the helm of the Pacific men’s basketball team, the strides of the program are evident.

The Tigers are off to their best start in 15 years. They rank in the top-10 in all of college basketball in rebounding margin. And, Pacific won its conference opener — Thursday night at Pepperdine — for the first time since the 2015-16 season.

The Tigers took their next step Saturday night by defeating Saint Mary’s College, a capstone program in the West Coast Conference, 107-99 in quadruple overtime.
