Pacific women's soccer (2-3-0) won its first home opener since 2015 tonight 3-1 over Sacramento State (0-4-1). Freshman Beth Burgess, senior Kendall Bietsch and redshirt senior Katie Martinez scored the goals for the Tigers.
Pacific conceded a goal in the 11th minute, then scored three unanswered with two in the 25th minute and another in the 79th to see off Sacramento State. With tonight's win and Sunday's at New Mexico State, this marks the first time the Tigers have won back-to-back games since the 2013 season.
