Pacific Splits Pair At Libby Matson Tournament

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific softball team moved to 5-6 on the season after falling to Cal State Northridge, 2-0, and rallying past Seattle, 9-7, in Libby Matson Tournament action on Saturday, Feb. 25, at Bill Simoni Field.

The opener remained scoreless through four frames, before Cal State Northridge (5-8) dented the scoreboard with an RBI single from Madison Fleming to give the Matadors a 1-0 lead in the fifth. Taylor Glover added an RBI single in the sixth to double the Matadors' margin.

Freshman Hailey Reed (1-1) allowed two runs, both earned, for the Tigers in six innings of work in the circle.
