Pacific names new men’s soccer coach

STOCKTON – Adam Reeves is taking over one of the gems of University of the Pacific’s athletic program.

Reeves was named coach of the Pacific men’s soccer team on Wednesday. He will replace Ryan Jorden, who built the program from scratch to a perennial playoff team in five years before accepting the post at UCLA.

In a statement released by Pacific, Reeves stated he wants to continue the Tigers’ success.

“I’m thrilled to be chosen as the next head coach for UOP’s men’s soccer program,” Reeves said. ”... Pacific is a tremendous academic institution with storied success on the court and field and it was extremely attractive to me to be a part of that and the Tiger family.
