STOCKTON — With a 32-point lead, Broc Finstuen hardly needed to dive for the ball.
The University of the Pacific guard could have let Zeke Moore of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville scoop it up while Finstuen set up to defend.
The score didn’t matter. The effort did.
See, being casual is not Finstuen’s style.
“Broc, he ignites us,” Pacific coach Damon Stoudamire said. “He does a lot of good things out there. He shot the ball well and energy that he brings — he’s unorthodox in his approach and how he does it but he gets it done and that’s the main thing.
