Pacific Defeats UC Irvine in Overtime

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific men's basketball team stunned a very strong UC Irvine squad on Saturday night, defeating the Anteaters 84-75 in overtime at the Alex G. Spanos Center.

The Tigers improve to 10-5, marking the first time that a Pacific team has opened Conference play with 10 wins. The last time the Tigers' program opened with a better record was the 2007-08 season, when they started at 11-4.

UC Irvine falls to 11-4 on the season.
