STOCKTON — Four freshmen led the Delta men's basketball team to a 73-69 consolation championship win against Sierra at their 49th annual Delta Holiday Classic finale Sunday at Blanchard Gymnasium.
The Mustangs bested their future Big 8 Conference opponent with balanced scoring from freshmen David Lerma, an Elliot Christian product, and Jovian Cormier, who had 14 and 12 points.
