Lubbock, Texas - The Pacific men's tennis team posted a 4-3 victory over No. 41 New Mexico Monday at the Texas Invitational as Sem Verbeek, Miguel Diaz, and Jose Chambra posted singles wins.
In singles action, Verbeek downed Van Leijsen, 7-5, 6-2 while Diaz posted a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Escutia. Chambra defeated Jauregui 6-4, 6-2, while three New Mexico wins made doubles the deciding factor. Sabathka topped Alameh 7-5, 6-3, while Ge squeaked by Giannini 7-5, 6-4.
