Spanos Center was roaring on Thursday night and despite dropping a close 53-52 decision to a very strong San Francisco team, the Pacific men's basketball team still had something to celebrate as it honored former Tiger Dell Demps by retiring his No. 5 jersey.

With a loss Thursday night the Tigers fall to 11-9, 1-4 in West Coast Conference play. San Francisco improves to 15-3, 3-1 against its Conference foes.
