Pacific women's tennis' Maya Lopez joined the team prior to the start of the dual match season and is already off to a strong start.
The freshman from Boca Raton, Fla. has adjusted quickly to Division I tennis with a win in her first collegiate match at the Fullerton Spring Invite earlier this month. Later at that same tournament, she would go on to defeat a doubles team from Arizona with her partner, freshman Jacquie Tan. Currently, she is 2-2 in singles play and 2-1 in doubles.
