The Stockton Heat beat the San Diego Gulls 5-2 Friday night at the Stockton Arena, scoring four times after the first period to earn a win on Mardi Gras Night.
The Heat were in a 2-0 hole early. Tyler Graovac scored the team’s first goal, and Juuso Valimaki evened the contest with his score. Goals by Buddy Robinson, Glenn Gawdin and Dillon Dube all scored to secure the victory for Stockton.
The Heat are back in action tonight against San Diego, set for 6 p.m at home.
