LOCAL ROUNDUP: Stockton Heat beats Colorado, 6-2

The Stockton Heat got hot in the second and third periods, and its defense and goaltending came through in Colorado.

The Heat scored the final four goals of the night and beat the Colorado Eagles 6-2 on saturday in front of a sold-out crowd of 5,289 at Budweiser Events Center in Loveland, Colorado. Stockton (19-23-5) snapped a three-game losing streak.

Six different players scored for the Heat. The score was tied 2-2 4:50 into the second period when Dillon Dub Stockton for Stockton off assists from Spencer Foo (who had two in the game) and Juuso Valimaki.
