Local Roundup: Saint Mary’s rallies to beat Pacific in 5 games

The Pacific volleyball team had a 2-1 game advantage against visiting Saint Mary’s, but the Gaels rallied to beat the Tigers 3-2 Friday night before a crowd of 618 at Spanos Center.

The Gaels prevailed 25-19, 16-25, 26-28, 25-14, 15-10. Pacific dropped to 6-9, 1-3 in the West Coast Conference, while Saint Mary’s improved to 11-3, 3-1.

Kaitlyn Lines led the Tigers with 18 kills, 16 digs and two blocks, Riley Ramsey had 10 kills and five digs, Riley Patterson had nine kills and 17 digs, Luaren Clin had eight kills, three blocks and two digs, Alex Holt had eight kills, two digs and three blocks, and Hanne DeScrijver had assists, and Gabby Leo had 27 assists.
